There is a truism amongst car designers that you absolutely cannot put more than 200 bhp through the front wheels of a front wheel drive car before waves of torquesteer carry you off into the scenery. This nugget of information originates from the engineers at Saab, who lets face it know a thing or two about front wheel drive cars. However, all of the conversions below will give significantly over 200bhp and while we are all happy to play second fiddle to the Swedes when it comes to trendy flat pack furniture or 1970s pop super groups, it seems that the Focus ST chassis is competent enough to save you from a trip into the undergrowth.

Pretty much the first complete kit available for the ST and still the way to go if you like your cars wild and noisy. The conversion consists of a bluefin stage 3 re-map matched to some carefully chosen hardware all of which are available separately. |
